It's a Valuable House...

Here is a gingerbread house that my sister Susanna and I constructed from a kit yesterday. My brothers seemed to act as if it was the first cookie-structure- candy-covered house they had every seen. Practically salivating over it, they told me how they planned to take it apart in a few weeks.
They argued over it, gazed at it, and discussed it in detail.
Soon an epic argument erupted over whether the gingerbread structure was cake or cookie. The answer should be obvious, of course, but there was a stubborn opponent to common sense and reason, who staunchly defended it as cake.

I don't see what's so appetizing about some crusty royal icing, a couple of stale gumdrops, and a few sticky mints. But I suppose it has curb-appeal.

And this, my friends, is too great a shot not to show you. A detail from one of the potential Christmas card shots my mom was trying to take.

It's classic, folks.
