Coming Soon

I think I'll do a little tutorial post on here for you folks who haven't discovered the joys of Aviary yet.....I'll probably post it in the next few days. Aviary is absolutely free, and you don't have to be a rocket scientist to learn basic masking, cloning, and layering techniques. Here's what you can do.....

BEFORE:
AFTER: (And just to let you know, I feel absolutely no remorse at all about altering this scene. None at all. Realism? Bah, humbug.)
And no, I did not just paint over that obnoxious orange skyscraper. I used an extremely easy technique called cloning- which, despite it's simplicity, is more dignified than paint!

And here are a few more:

This is the Old City Hall in Boston, which for a short time housed the Boston Latin School- where Benjamin Franklin attended. The statue portrays Josiah Quincy. Of course you wouldn't guess it, since he looks like a cross between Darth Vader and a mammoth monk standing on a pedestal....

But anyway, stay tuned....
