To Write Or Not To Write?

I now have to make the decision whether to continue with National Novel Writing Month. To the horror of writing purists everywhere, the hoards and masses have congregated to write their own novels- and they excitedly plan to finish their 50,000 word manuscripts by midnight, November 30th. I chose to join them. Why? I like challenges, I like writing, and I've had a hard time finishing my work before. I thought maybe this would be a good way to actually complete something. I don't participate in the chat rooms- I basically stole the idea and the little web badge and ran off. Things were going fine, until this weekend. I'm about 10,000 words behind the halfway point, and I only have two weeks left. Plus, my plot is- well, I won't talk about that. I'm one third of the way to the finish line. It's actually sort of fun! After I'm done, you may all not read it. But if I don't make it, I'm going to be very disappointed that I didn't get to collect my little "winner" badge and a certificate. Very disappointed.

I recently found out that I get to accompany my dad on a business trip to Boston. We're leaving December first, and will be coming back that Friday. That gives me enough time to decide whether to abandon this literary mess, work on my math, and get ready for the trip.

Jerome has discovered the joys of computer "web-cam" things. Here one of the pictures. He says "beep beep" now, and then claps for himself and exclaims "yay!" after he says it.
Hope you all have a lovely week!

(Yes, I'm too lazy to put my online signature on here, but I assure you, it's really me writing!)

Finish it! I started about a million novels when I was younger, but never finished a single one. And I wish that I had. I'll read yours!

Btw, Walter and Maggie love out webcam too :D

I never had been one for writing novels, poems are more to my liking. I think you should finish it, even if you don't end up sending it in I will read it for sure:)
