Shots From Bainbridge Island

So yes, I admit to changing my template. Drastically. The main reason was that I was frustrated with the size limit for photos on the old one. Not to shove them in your face, but I do prefer to keep things big and simple. My main problem with the old one was that the pictures I took vertically showed up smaller than I wanted. But now- they're bigger than I want them to be. Plus, I can't have a sidebar, which makes me somewhat sad. Eventually I'll see what I can do about getting some sort of blog list back. (Not to mention a profile, hit counter, link list, etc.)

So things will keep changing.

But for now I'm just going to post some photos I took a few weeks ago on the island during our little trip.

Next to Bay Hay And Feed is a little place called Rolling Bay Cafe. We went there for breakfast a few times.....

YUM. Maybe I should keep my pictures large on here. A larger-than-life cinnamon roll doesn't sound like such a bad idea to me....Maybe I should have taken the picture BEFORE it was cruelly disfigured? I probably post way to much of this kind of stuff on here anyway.....contrary to popular opinion I do not sit around all the time and consume baked goods. (Although I do have some amazing recipes to post later!)

The large bird pictured above is the top part of a swan boat.

And another coffee place....

Don't worry, dear... You'll get the format figured out. At least you've been able to post recently, which is more than I can say!

I love the layout! Though I too am a fan of sidebars and that would be hard to do without. Food photography is indeed a wonderful thing. It really is an art! Culinary and photographic put together.

The wedding photos give me the impression that it was a very classy, d.i.y. sort of wedding - lovely!

Yeah, I really love how the shots are bigger with the new template, however sparse it may be.
