A Black And White City

Powell's Books is a lovely store.

To me this looks like a fun place to read. Fun, of course- until some weird person comes up to the glass and starts to take photos.

Where are the people? Sometimes I'm surprised by the lack of humanity in my photographs.

But then I just think to myself how fortunate I am to have an image that is not marred by some ridiculous looking hipster. And then I am happy.

Ha! Ridiculous looking hipster indeed!

Really though, I suppose if one only saw the pictures you took of buildings without people you might think they were the ruins of some ancient civilization or something...

Also, I love the picture of the people in Powell's.

Ahhh! I switched tenses in the second paragraph! Pleas, I beg you, forgive me...

And then I misspelled "please". Just shoot me now. My life is a waste.

Why are you such a hipster hater?

Now! Not only can I not become famous but I can never be a hipster because you'll hate me.

We need a talk. Again.

But I wanted to say I really like Portland in black and white :)
And OH! look! Those two bums who were having that huge fight are in that first picture. hahaha. :D
